CIBIL Score Kya Hai? 300 Se 900 Tak Ka Score Loan Kaise Approve Karwata Hai?

What is CIBIL Score CIBIL Score is a 3 digit numerical summary which represents your credit worthiness (the ability to pay your loans) and your previous repayment history. The CIBIL Score ranges from 300 to 900 and is calculated by credit bureau agency TransUnion CIBIL. Whenever you apply for a Credit Card, Home Loan, Personal Loan or Car Loan through any bank or NBFC, the bank only looks at your CIBIL score and credit report before processing your loan application.

However, agar aapka score low hai ya aapne pehle koi payment nahi kiya hai to bank aapka loan offer reject kr sakta hai oraapko high interest lena padhna sakta hai. It means, a good CIBIL score aapke liye kam kharchkhendha waale loan khilata.

CIBIL Score is categorized in different brackets which help decide, whether you will get the loan or not:

300 - 549 (Poor / Bad Score): This is considered a very bad score. It indicates you have defaulted on an EMI or a bill in the past and banks directly reject your loan applications.

550 – 649 (Fair / Average): Loan milna mushkil hota hai. Though if the other bank chahe bhi to loan approve kar de, lekin wo high-interest rate and required by the strict terms may.

650 - 749 (Good Score): Yeh ek achha score hai. Is range ke andar aapko zyada tar loan aur credit card mil jaate hain, lekin ho sakta hai ki best offers na milein.

750 - 900 (Behtareen / Utkrrisht Anki): 750+ score ko gold standard bhi kaha jata hai. Is range ke applicants bank ke nazar mein ‘Low Risk Customers’ hote hain. Inhe instant loan approval, kam processing fees, high credit limit, aur kam se kam interest rate milta hai (Pre approved offers).

(Note: For Naye users who has never taken any loan, score shows NA/ NH or -1).

Aapka CIBIL score random tarike se tay nahi hota, balki yeh 4 mukhya factors par depend karta hai:

1. Repayment History (35% Weightage)-This is the most important factor. Do you pay up your credit card bills and loan EMIs before the due date? Even a single late payment or default can send your score crashing down really fast.

2. Credit Utilization Ratio-CUR(30% Weightage): How much percent of your total credit limit you are utilizing. If you have a credit limit of Rs 1 lakh and you are spending Rs 80,000 (80% CUR), then banks will consider you as ‘credit hungry’ persons. Always keep it to below 30%.

3. Credit Mix & Duration 25% Weightage – What types of loans do you hold. Should have a healthy mix of secured (Home/Car loan) and unsecured (Personal loan/credit card) load. Also the longer your credit history the higher the score.

4. Hard Inquiries (10% weightage): Jab aap frequent alag-alag banks ko loan ke liye apply karte hain, toh banks aapki credit report dekhte hain (Hard Inquiry). Frequent inquiry karne se aapka CIBIL score drop ho jata hai.

If your CIBIL score is low or you want to increase it to 750+, follow these actionable tips:

Pay 100% Bills On Time: Never miss the due date of credit card bills and loans EMIs. Simply set an auto-debit so that the payments go through on time.

Never Pay Only Minimum Amount Due: Always pay Total Amount Due on your credit card statement, avoid falling into trap of ‘Minimum Amount Due’.

Apni credit utilization ko kam rakhein : Sirf 30% Apni card limit ka kharch karein. Whole limit ko exhaust na karein agar koi emergency na ho.

Don‘t apply for too many loans at once: Do not apply for loans or cards in a number of banks at the same time. Improve your score before applying again after rejection.

Regularly monitor your CIBIL report: Apne CIBIL report ko har mahine thoda bohat to check karta rehna chahie. Iske andar koi bhi unuthar ya erronous entry saamna ayie to usko Cibil ki rasmi website par dispute karke correct karwaya jaaye.

By following Sahi discipline and consistency you can see a significant improvement within 3 to 6 months in your CIBIL score.
